Police arrested a Waterloo man after officers executed a bench warrant tied to several prior charges.
The Waterloo Police Department said officers arrested Jeremiah L. Peterman, 36, around 10:45 a.m. on February 4.
Police said the bench warrant stemmed from Peterman’s failure to appear in court on original charges. Those charges include aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Following the arrest, police also charged Peterman with bail jumping in the second degree, a Class E felony.
Officers transported Peterman to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. Police said he was later held on bail.
