Geneva City Council met Feb. 4 for its regular session at City Hall, beginning with an executive session on collective bargaining and personnel matters. Council heard multiple presentations, including a 2025 year-in-review and financial update, and discussed proposed rectangular rapid-flashing beacons on South Main Street, potential changes to the city’s Memorial Bench Program, and a sidewalk ordinance. Members also considered a resolution supporting the issuance of $93 million in revenue bonds for the Hobart and William Smith Colleges project, took up surplus property at 32 Middle Street, and made appointments to the Industrial Development Agency before adjournment.
