A big, green ogre takes over the spotlight next week as Wayne Central students prepare for a musical run, according to The Times of Wayne County. Wayne Central School District will present Shrek the Musical on February 6 and 7.
The production hits the stage at the James Beneway High School Performing Arts Center, featuring a full student cast led by Marshall Eichorn as Shrek and Emily Pedersen as Princess Fiona. The show follows Shrek’s quest to reclaim his swamp, blending humor, friendship, and self-acceptance.
Performances include a senior dress rehearsal Thursday night, a Friday evening show, and two performances Saturday. Tickets are available online through ShowTix4U.
