Residents served by several Seneca County water districts can return to normal water use after officials lifted a mandatory conservation order.
The Seneca County Health Department announced Monday that it has lifted the order for the Seneca County Water District and purchaser systems Fayette WD #5, Fayette WD #8, Romulus WD, Varick WD #1, and Varick WD #3.
Health officials said the order was lifted because crews repaired the damaged water line and water tower levels have returned to normal.
The mandatory conservation order had been put in place to protect system capacity while repairs were underway.
The Health Department said residents with questions can contact the Seneca County Water District at 315-515-1409 or the Seneca County Health Department at 315-539-1945.
