A tense standoff that rattled a mobile home park has now ended in a long prison term, according to The Finger Lakes Times. A Waterloo man received 20 years in state prison after firing repeatedly at police during a 2025 shooting spree.
Randy Davis, 46, pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree attempted murder. Prosecutors said he opened fire on responding officers during a prolonged confrontation at Mallard Crossing, though no officers were hurt.
Investigators said Davis also broke into a neighbor’s home, assaulted a resident, and stole weapons. Judge Barry Porsch ordered the sentence to run concurrently, followed by five years of post-release supervision, and issued multiple stay-away orders.
