Woman charged after Geneva Walmart burglary

Deputies arrested a woman after a reported burglary at a Geneva-area Walmart store.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said the arrest followed an investigation at the store on Waterloo Geneva Road in the Town of Geneva.

Annmarie Foe, 55, of Geneva was charged with burglary in the third degree.

Sheriff’s deputies said the incident happened around 12:41 p.m. on Jan. 16.

Investigators determined Foe had previously been formally trespassed from all Walmart properties by Walmart Asset Protection.

Despite that notice, deputies said she entered the store without permission.

Authorities said Foe concealed merchandise by placing items between two reusable shopping bags.

Deputies said she then walked past all points of sale without paying for $50.73 worth of merchandise.

Deputy Morey investigated the case with assistance from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest on Jan. 19.
