Two cats left inside a duffel bag sparked concern late Friday night behind a Victor restaurant.
Employees closing the Five Guys around 11:30 found the bag near a dumpster and discovered the cats inside. They contacted the Ontario County Humane Society for help.
Humane Society staff responded to the scene, secured the animals, and brought them back to the shelter. Workers checked both cats and found them in good health.
The Humane Society is now asking for the public’s help to find the owner or learn what happened. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Ontario County Humane Society at 585-396-4590.
