Deputies arrested a man early Friday after a family trouble report led to allegations of reckless driving with children inside a vehicle.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 12:29 a.m. to a report tied to an incident on State Route 245 in the Town of Naples.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested a 26-year-old man for endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment in the second degree.
According to the sheriff’s office, investigators determined the man operated a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe in a reckless manner and allegedly threatened to crash the vehicle and kill the victim.
Authorities said two children were inside the vehicle during the incident.
Deputies transported the man to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held for CAP Court.
He is scheduled to appear in Naples Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
