A Democratic primary challenger is taking his message directly to Central New York voters, according to The Citizen. Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado will host a town hall and meet-and-greet in Auburn next week as part of his run for governor.
The event is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Auburn Public Theater. Delgado’s campaign says the stop will highlight his vision for a more just and inclusive New York.
Delgado launched his campaign last summer after breaking with Gov. Kathy Hochul. Recent polling shows Hochul holding a wide lead in the Democratic primary.
