RRH earns national culture honor

Rochester Regional Health has landed a national honor for how it treats its workforce.

Newsweek named Rochester Regional Health one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Culture, Belonging and Community for 2026. The recognition comes through a partnership with Plant-A Insights Group.

The designation highlights organizations that build inclusive, supportive workplaces where employees feel connected and valued. Newsweek based the rankings on one of the largest independent workplace studies in the country, drawing from millions of employee reviews and third-party analysis.

“At Rochester Regional Health, culture is not a program. It is how we show up for one another and for the communities we serve,” said Charlene Wilson, executive vice president and chief people officer. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our teams and their commitment to building a workplace grounded in respect, belonging, and shared purpose.”

The ranking evaluates factors such as corporate culture, inclusion, community engagement, and overall employee experience. Companies cannot apply or pay to participate in the process.

Rochester Regional Health said the recognition reinforces its focus on creating a workplace where employees can thrive while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

The health system serves communities across Western New York, the Finger Lakes, and St. Lawrence County and is one of the region’s largest employers.
