Seneca Falls police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman wanted on an active warrant.
Police identified the suspect as Jenelle A. Rivera, 46, in a “Wanted Wednesday” post released by the Seneca Falls Police Department.
Officers say Rivera failed to appear in court on a charge of petit larceny.
Police shared a photo and physical description to help identify her. Rivera is listed as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 280 pounds, has brown hair, and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about Rivera’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Seneca Falls Police Department at 315-568-4850. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online through the department’s tip portal at senecafalls.com/gov/dept/police/tip/.
Police stress that residents should not take action themselves. Officials say the public should only contact police with information and not attempt to intervene.
