Police arrested a Bath man after investigators say he exchanged sexual messages and images with a person unable to legally consent, according to WETM.
Officers took Mark E. Allen, 53, into custody Wednesday following an investigation by the Village of Bath Police Department. Authorities say the victim has disabilities that prevent proper consent.
Investigators allege Allen sent sexually explicit messages and photos to the individual. Police charged him with first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, a class E felony.
Allen was booked into the Steuben County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.
