A new voice will lead the Auburn Doubledays this season, according to The Citizen.
The team hired Auburn Doubledays manager Thomas Eaton on Monday. He replaces Matt Petrossi after the Doubledays’ strong 2025 run in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
He managed the Geneva Red Wings last season and previously coached pitchers for the Batavia Muckdogs during back-to-back division titles.
He also adds MLB scouting and coaching experience with the Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Kansas City Royals.
