Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Waterloo woman following a late-night investigation in the Town of Middlesex.
Yates County deputies identified the suspect as Jennifer Dineen, 50, of Waterloo. Deputies responded around 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 29 to a report of possible drug possession at a residence on State Route 245.
Deputies said they made contact with Dineen during the investigation. She was found to be in possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and admitted to having it, according to the sheriff’s office.
Dineen was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Deputies issued her an appearance ticket, and she is scheduled to answer the charge in Town of Middlesex Court at a later date.
Yates County Sheriff’s deputies, including a K-9 unit, assisted at the scene.
