Police arrested a man after investigating repeated late-night phone calls meant to alarm a business employee.
Officers identified David Barnard, 36, of Lyons, after a harassment complaint in Seneca Falls. The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department made the arrest at 10:48 p.m. on Jan. 4.
Investigators said Barnard repeatedly called the front desk clerk of a business. Police said the calls aimed to alarm the employee.
Officers located Barnard and issued him an appearance ticket. He faces a charge of harassment in the second degree, a violation.
Barnard is scheduled to return to Seneca Falls Town Court on a later date to answer the charge.
