Police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon after a reported disturbance on Buffalo Street.
Austin J. Bryant, 26, of Canandaigua, faces charges of menacing in the second degree and menacing in the third degree following the incident.
Officers responded to the area around 1:58 p.m. on Dec. 22. During the investigation, police determined Bryant threatened to physically harm another person.
Investigators say Bryant also displayed a knife while making the threats.
Police arrested Bryant in connection with the disturbance. Officers later released him on an appearance ticket.
Bryant is scheduled to appear in City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.
