Police arrested a man Saturday evening after a reported disturbance at a Saltonstall Street address.
Logan French, 24, of Canandaigua, faces charges of assault in the third degree and aggravated family offense following the incident.
Officers responded to the address around 5:07 p.m. on Dec. 27. During the investigation, police determined French engaged in a physical altercation with another person.
Investigators say French struck the other person several times in the face during the dispute.
Police arrested French and transported him to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
The charges stem from the disturbance and findings uncovered during the investigation.
