Trump warns others after Maduro capture

Fresh off a dramatic military operation, President Donald Trump warned foreign leaders that they could face the same fate as Venezuela’s ousted president, according to Associated Press reports.

Trump said the U.S. capture and indictment of Nicolás Maduro sends a clear message, adding that America will temporarily run Venezuela until a transition begins. He shared images of a blindfolded Maduro and praised the operation as a show of U.S. military power.

Maduro and his wife now face multiple federal charges, including narco-terrorism and cocaine trafficking. Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed the warning, while Republican allies applauded the move. Trump said some U.S. troops were injured, but none were killed.
