Police arrested a Seneca Falls man after officers found illegal drugs during an unrelated arrest.
Robert C. Nageldinger, 53, of Seneca Falls, now faces a charge tied to an incident earlier this year.
Police said the charge stems from an April 2 incident.
Officers took Nageldinger into custody for an unrelated matter when they discovered Suboxone strips in his possession. Police said he did not have a valid prescription for the medication.
Police charged Nageldinger with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Officers served the charge on December 16 while Nageldinger was already being held at the Seneca County Jail. Police scheduled him to appear in CAP court.
