ESL warns of scam calls targeting customers

Scammers are posing as ESL Federal Credit Union employees in a wave of phishing calls and texts aimed at stealing personal info, according to News10NBC.

The credit union says fraudsters may share partial card numbers to appear legitimate, then press for more details. Some victims report getting repeated calls until they answer.

ESL reminds members it will never ask for sensitive info by phone or text. Customers should call 585-336-1000 with concerns.
