A Steuben County woman is facing charges after allegedly using someone else’s EBT card without permission.
Investigators say 37-year-old Bailey Haar, of Campbell, used the card back in January to make unauthorized purchases totaling $310.69. She was arrested on November 26 following an investigation by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.
Haar has been charged with petit larceny and misuse of food stamps. She was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and released. She’s scheduled to return to Village of Bath Court at a later date.
Sheriff Jim Allard thanked the Department of Social Services and the District Attorney’s Office for assisting with the case.
