Instead of relaxing with family, BB’s Pizzeria owner Josh Jackson spent Thanksgiving making over 50 pizzas for people in need, according to WROC. Some went to families displaced by fires and other emergencies.
Jackson, who’s run his Newark shop for 15 years, said the tradition means a lot — especially because he grew up poor and feels grateful to the community that’s supported him.
He shares much of his outreach through Facebook and plans to keep giving back every year.
