Hospice House is inviting the community to a thoughtful and practical event focused on one of life’s most difficult but necessary topics: planning ahead for end-of-life care.
Titled “Conversations That Matter: Planning Ahead for Peace of Mind,” the event takes place Tuesday, November 18 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Naples Elementary School cafeteria.
The event is designed to help older adults and their families begin important conversations about future care decisions—well before a crisis happens. Through personal stories and expert advice, attendees will learn how to make choices that reduce stress, ensure wishes are honored, and provide peace of mind for everyone involved.
Panelists include:
- Dr. Robert Ostrander, retired family practice physician from Rushville
- Triciajean Saxton, director of the Ontario County Office for the Aging
- Jennifer Lambert, who will share her family’s personal experience navigating end-of-life planning
Organizers say the event will cover everything from legal and medical planning to emotional and family considerations. Refreshments will be provided.
The event is free and open to the public.
