Clifton Springs woman charged with felony DWI after traffic stop in Middlesex

A Clifton Springs woman is facing felony charges after deputies say she was driving drunk with a child in the car.

Christy L. Hubbell, 32, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. on October 5 following a traffic stop on State Route 245 in the Town of Middlesex.

According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, Hubbell showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. Deputies say she had a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle at the time.

She was charged with felony aggravated DWI with a child passenger, misdemeanor DWI, endangering the welfare of a child, and three counts of failure to keep right.

Hubbell was taken to the Yates County Jail for processing and held pending arraignment.
