Victor residents get their say on downtown’s future tonight

A big night is ahead for Victor as locals gather at Village Hall to help shape the future of their downtown.

At 6:30 p.m., just before the Village Board meeting, residents, business owners, and partners are invited to take part in a public engagement session tied to the NY Forward grant application. The initiative — called “Our Voice, Our Vision, Our Victor(y)!” (V3) — is part of a two-week push to collect community feedback.

The Village of Victor and the Victor Local Development Corporation are working together to bring in as many voices as possible. Attendees tonight can fill out V3 input forms and share their ideas for improving the area.

“This NY Forward V3 initiative gives every resident, business, and neighbor the chance to help shape a thriving and welcoming downtown for the next generation,” said Mayor Sean McAdoo. “Tonight’s session is one of many opportunities to ensure that our application reflects what truly matters to this community.”

Forms are also available throughout town — including Village and Town Halls, the library, Parks and Rec Center, and at the weekly Farmer’s Market — as well as online through October 15.

“The success of this V3 outreach effort depends on the voices,” said Kathy Rayburn of the Victor Local Development Corporation. “We encourage everyone to share their input and be part of building Victor’s future together.”
