A convicted sex offender was arrested Friday morning in Manchester after authorities say he failed to update his address — a felony offense under New York law.
Deputies took 28-year-old Bradleigh S. Mussaw into custody at the Manchester Inn on State Route 96, where he had been staying in Room 140. He was wanted on a warrant issued by the Canandaigua Town Court.
Mussaw is charged with failure to register a change of address, a Class D felony. He’s previously been convicted of the same offense in 2024. According to investigators, Mussaw had been released from the Ontario County Jail in May after serving a sentence for that prior charge.
Mussaw is classified as a Level 3 sex offender, the highest risk category under New York’s sex offender registry system.
He was transported back to the Ontario County Jail and is being held pending arraignment.
