Friday brought an exciting, action-packed slate of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school fall sports. On the football field, though, the night was defined by lopsided scores, including a clash of unbeatens. Newark/Marion met Palmyra-Macedon in a highly anticipated matchup, but the Red Raiders dominated from start to finish, cruising to a decisive victory that pushed their record to 5-0. Meanwhile, Penn Yan girls’ soccer also grabbed the spotlight as Makenna Mullins netted four goals in the Mustangs’ win over Marcus Whitman.
