Deputies say Lyons man returned to banned property, resisted arrest

A man accused of trespassing where he’d already been banned tried to fight with deputies during his arrest Thursday evening in Lyons.

Deputies charged Jonathan K. Tarver, 36, with criminal trespass in the third degree, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Tarver was found on the same property he had been ordered to stay away from earlier that day. When deputies tried to arrest him around 7 p.m., he allegedly resisted and attempted to fight them.

Tarver was processed and released with an appearance ticket. He’s due in Lyons Town Court on September 16 at 8:30 a.m.
