The Buffalo Bills have reunited with wide receiver Gabe Davis, signing the veteran to their practice squad as he works his way back from a meniscus injury, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Davis, 26, spent his first four NFL seasons in Buffalo after being drafted in 2020. He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars last year, appearing in just 10 games due to injuries. He recorded 20 receptions for 239 yards and a pair of touchdowns during his lone season in Jacksonville.
His best year came in 2022 with the Bills, when he posted a career-high 836 receiving yards and seven scores. Davis also etched his name into franchise lore that postseason, exploding for 201 yards and four touchdowns in a memorable divisional-round shootout against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The move adds depth to a wideout group that includes Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel, Elijah Moore, and Tyrell Shavers.
Buffalo will open its season at home on Sunday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens.
