The Ithaca Tompkins International Airport is getting over $3.1 million in federal funds to prep for new snow removal and emergency response facilities, according to WENY.
The money is part of a $66 million boost for 22 New York airports.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand says the funding will improve safety and service statewide. Ithaca’s airport is also set to receive another $1.5 million to enhance passenger safety and experience.
