A Sodus man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he was caught driving drunk on Route 14 in the Town of Lyons early Monday morning.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says Saul Herrera-Tirado, 35, was pulled over around 12:15 a.m. on August 26 after failing to stay in his lane and exceeding the posted speed limit.
Deputies say Herrera-Tirado showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests at the scene. A breath test later revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.18%, more than twice the legal limit.
He was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, moving from lane unsafely, and speeding. Herrera-Tirado was released with traffic citations and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
