Two Wayne County school districts landed rare state grants to expand after-school options, according to Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES.
Marion and Lyons will each get $1.25 million over five years through New York’s BOOST program—funding aimed at helping grades 7–12 with academic and social support outside class.
W-FL BOCES led the application effort and will manage the grants, which were among just two awarded across the eight-county Finger Lakes region.
