Officer Nathan Jacon resigned August 15 after months on leave. Sgt. David Felice remains on paid leave. The probe, handled by Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, is unrelated to separate charges against Officer Michael Tapscott, who’s due in court August 27.

Wayne County’s DA is reviewing both cases as special prosecutor.
