F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua has kicked off a sweeping renovation project to modernize its care spaces and improve patient experience, according to RochesterFirst.
The upgrades include a new MRI unit, two additional birthing rooms, and a redesigned main entrance to improve access. The hospital’s chapel and gift shop will also be relocated for better convenience.
Leaders say essential services will continue during construction, but visitors should expect temporary changes such as alternate entry points. The renovations aim to keep the hospital at the forefront of quality care.
