Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has released a detailed policy plan aimed at strengthening U.S. support for Israel while taking a hard line against Iran’s global influence and nuclear ambitions.
The announcement, made Tuesday from Oswego, outlines Tenney’s proposed steps to advance security cooperation with Israel and increase sanctions on the Iranian regime. It also criticizes current U.S. foreign policy under the Biden administration.
“The Biden administration empowered Iran and abandoned Israel at a critical moment in history,” said Tenney. “From the horrific October 7th massacres to Iran’s ongoing efforts to build a nuclear weapon, the United States must act with moral clarity and strategic strength.”
Tenney’s plan includes renewed enforcement of sanctions, strategic defense partnerships, and efforts to counter what she calls the international delegitimization of Israel. She voiced support for former President Trump’s “Maximum Pressure Campaign” and called for its reinstatement.
Tenney, who serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said her proposal is rooted in national security priorities and personal commitment—as a mother of a U.S. Marine officer.
