A late-night traffic complaint led Waterloo police to arrest a woman for driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle without a valid license.
Jacey L. Lansdowne, 34, of Waterloo, was taken into custody on August 2 at around 11:45 p.m. following a civilian call to 911 that reported erratic driving. Officers located her vehicle and initiated a traffic stop after observing it fail to maintain its lane.
Police said Lansdowne was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.17%—more than twice the legal limit. Investigators also discovered she held only a suspended non-driver ID.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a BAC greater than 0.08%, and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. Police also issued her traffic tickets for failure to maintain lane and operating an uninspected motor vehicle.
Lansdowne is scheduled to appear in the Town of Waterloo Court at a later date.
