Visit LivCo has earned a prestigious 2025 New York State Tourism Excellence Award for its creative promotion of the LivCo Libation Loop, a trail celebrating Livingston County’s growing craft beverage scene.
The New York State Tourism Industry Association honored Visit LivCo with the Excellence in Tourism Marketing Campaigns, Projects & Programs: Trails & Itineraries award. The campaign features a curated map of local breweries, wineries, a cidery, and the county’s first distillery.
“Our tourism office deserves a lot of credit for their efforts in creating and expertly marketing the Libation Loop,” said Acting Tourism Director Bill Bacon. “This recognition reflects the strength of our local tourism economy and the dedication of our small business partners.”
The campaign included custom maps, printed and digital itineraries, an in-person “Meet the Makers” event, and promotion through the Visit LivCo app and seasonal guides. The award was the result of a competitive evaluation by a panel of impartial industry experts.
Each year, the NYS Tourism Excellence Awards highlight the work of destination marketing organizations, attractions, and tourism professionals across the state. This year’s honorees will be celebrated on September 11 in Lake George.
The LivCo Libation Loop showcases 12 producers across the Genesee River Valley and is designed to draw attention to local businesses while encouraging tourism throughout the region.
