Auburn police have identified the victim of the July 26 homicide on Chapman Avenue as 43-year-old Ronell Agee, according to an update released by the department on July 29.
The shooting occurred around 9:38 p.m. in the area of Oak Creek Town Homes. Police confirmed Agee’s identity after speaking with his next of kin. Agee was a Rochester resident, according to the release prepared by Captain K.J. Platt.
Davon Dixon, previously named in connection with the case, remains under arrest for the fatal shooting. Authorities have not released further details about the motive or events leading up to the incident.
