Rochester-area mountain lion possibly spotted in Greece

Two witnesses believe they saw a mountain lion in Greece, New York, just days after reports of a similar sighting in Rochester, according to News10NBC.

One woman described the animal leaping across Northbridge Drive late Monday night, while another resident along nearby Larkin Creek reported seeing a similar creature weeks earlier, even finding animal droppings in her yard. A wildlife expert said the scat appears consistent with that of a mountain lion.

Experts believe the animal may be a roaming male seeking territory and prey, and could be traveling at night through secluded areas like riverbanks and train tracks.
