Montour Falls has named Mallorie Tong to its Village Board following the resignation of Trustee James Nolan, now a school superintendent.
Mayor James Ryan praised Tong’s leadership in state government and community engagement, noting her role as Business Officer 2 at the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, where she oversees a $25 million project and 30 staffers.
Ryan called her appointment a win for the village, citing her ability to build strong, high-performing teams and bring fresh insight to local governance.
