Seneca Falls will host a scenic stroll and scavenger hunt next month to support a vital community resource.
The Canal Walk and Scavenger Hunt will take place on August 9, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the Seneca County House of Concern.
Participants will walk two miles along the Cayuga–Seneca Canal, starting at Trinity Church in Seneca Falls. The route winds through downtown, continues along the Ludovico Trail, and finishes at the Seneca Falls Elks Club. Along the way, attendees can take part in a scavenger hunt.
The House of Concern is organizing the event to raise funds for its ongoing work serving individuals and families in need throughout Seneca County.
