Hogback Hill roared to life as nearly 500 racers and over 2,000 fans turned out for the 2025 King of the Hill motocross event in Palmyra, according to the Times of Wayne County. The two-day event mixed fierce competition with family fun, including open practice, pitbike races, and even a surprise petting zoo.
Sunday’s main event featured everything from beginner classes to high-stakes Pro races, with a $3,000 purse drawing top regional talent. Highlights included standout wins by Alden Smith and Brodie Miller, who dominated their divisions with multiple victories.
Even a storm couldn’t stall the action. After a brief lightning delay, racing resumed in mud-soaked conditions, fueling even louder cheers from the crowd. Fans can catch the next event October 4–5 at Hogback Hill.
