Starting Monday, drivers in Geneva should expect traffic delays as repairs begin on the South Main Street bridge over Routes 5&20, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The project is expected to last about three weeks.
Crews from the New York State DOT will repair sidewalks and approach slabs, working one lane at a time. Temporary signals and detours will be in place, with northbound traffic rerouted via the eastbound cloverleaf ramp.
City officials advise using alternate routes and planning for extra travel time during the construction period.
