Palmyra police are reminding residents of the village’s youth curfew following two early morning incidents on June 26. Surveillance showed two masked minors near a home around 3:30 a.m., shortly after a group of juveniles was spotted on school grounds.
The curfew prohibits minors from being in public from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekends. Parents may face legal action if they knowingly allow violations.
Police said exemptions apply, but violators could face charges including endangering the welfare of a child.
