Ontario County deputies arrested a Canandaigua man Monday afternoon on a bench warrant tied to an unresolved traffic charge.
Samuel Emilio Vazquez, 29, was taken into custody at 12:18 p.m. at his residence on Jefferson Avenue. Deputies arrested him without incident on a warrant issued by Hopewell Town Court.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, the warrant stemmed from Vazquez’s failure to appear in court on an Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the 3rd Degree charge.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail and held pending arraignment in CAP Court.
