The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a personal injury crash involving a motorcycle and pickup truck that occurred on June 23 in the Town of Marion.
Deputies say the crash happened at 10:22 p.m. on Walworth Marion Road, when a westbound pickup truck operated by Anna Parker, 38, of Marion, attempted to turn left onto Huntley Road and failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound motorcycle.
The motorcycle was operated by Caitlyn Harrington, 20, of Walworth. Harrington suffered injuries to her arm and leg and was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Parker was issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection and is scheduled to appear in Marion Town Court at a later date.
The Marion Fire Department and Western Wayne Ambulance assisted at the scene.
