The Rochester Americans have signed a new five-year lease with VenuWorks to remain at Blue Cross Arena, beginning with the 2025-26 season, the team announced in a press release Monday.

The Amerks will kick off their 70th season at Blue Cross Arena when the 2025-26 AHL season begins in October.
Over nearly seven decades, the franchise has claimed six Calder Cup titles, with the last coming in 1996. Rochester has also been home to numerous AHL legends, such as Jody Gage, Scott Metcalfe, Willie Marshall, Steve Kraftcheck, Dick Gamble, Gerry Cheevers, Al Arbour, and Don Cherry.
