After years of resilience through a pandemic and a devastating fire, Steve and Lin Rohrback will sell the Eastside Grill and Pub in Crystal Beach at the end of the 2025 season, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The couple is ready to retire, though they say they’ll still be regulars.
Since opening in 2019, the Rohrbacks rebuilt the restaurant after a 2021 blaze, modernizing it with insurance support and hands-on work. Known for comfort food and loyal customers, the bar became a local hub, often likened to a real-life version of “Cheers.”
The Eastside will close out its final season with stories, regulars, and one last New Year’s Eve bash before changing hands.
