Man allegedly pulled knife, fled police in Waterloo

A man is facing charges after allegedly pulling a knife during a confrontation in Waterloo on June 10.

Kyle W. Craig, 33, of Waterloo, was arrested around 6:24 p.m. for menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, according to the Waterloo Police Department.

Police say Craig approached another male to start an argument and then brandished a knife. As officers arrived, Craig fled on foot but was quickly caught.

Authorities transported Craig to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment. He was later released on his own recognizance.
