A Wayne County man is facing multiple charges following a late-night domestic incident that left a victim injured and unable to call for help.
Deputies arrested Kevin Woods, 61, at his home on Ridge Road in Sodus on June 6 after investigating a report of a domestic disturbance. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Woods allegedly made unwanted physical contact with the victim and prevented them from contacting emergency services.
The incident reportedly violated an active order of protection meant to safeguard the victim. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Woods now faces charges of Aggravated Family Offense, Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree.
Deputy Remis led the investigation. After his arrest, Woods was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and held in jail. He was scheduled for a CAP arraignment on the morning of June 7 at 7:00 a.m.
